One of these Things is Not Like the Others

So, I am happily entering middle age. I’ve notice a few telltale signs. One seems a bit odd.

  • Laugh lines – check
  • Gray hairs – check
  • Varicose veins – check
  • A gentle shift south in the anatomy – check
  • Comfort in my skin – check
  • Increased patience – check
  • Increased wisdom – check
  • BABY on the way…!

I’m LOVING middle age.

  1. Amen on the baby at 40! ;-). But I tell ya, granted I didn’t actually give birth at 40 with our new little one, it’s actually a very comfortable feeling having a baby at this age. We are more comfortable in our own skins now, more peaceful. Plus you will just ROCK as a new mom ;-). Love u much!!!!!!

  2. Here here! Those last few will come in handy with the new babe! And another thing…one of my best friends was born to parents in their forties…her mom and dad had such great wisdom when we were growing up and they yelled a lot less than my parents! Ha! God’s timing is always perfect.
